The Grotesk №1 is my first large font family – hence the name – created to be an "ordinary jobbing typeface" and is an homage to the Bauhaus and Swiss typography, combining elements of both. It is a 9 weight, 4 master family with obliques, featuring full European Latin character coverage, a handful of alternates, discretionary ligatures and an extensive kerning table.
Following further refinements, it will be available for purchase as Grotesk №1 PRO. |
The works on the font family started in university, with the guidance of Oszkár Boskovitz. |
